Serveto collaborates with FC Barcelona to transport 8,000 individual protection equipment in different hospital centers in Catalonia

SERVETO COLLABORATES WITH FC BARCELONA TO TRANSPORT 8,000 INDIVIDUAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT IN DIFFERENT HOSPITAL CENTERS IN CATALONIA


The Lleida company Serveto, logistics partner of the F.C. Barcelona has been in charge of transporting 8,000 personal protective equipment (PPE) to different hospital centers in Catalonia to help cope with the health emergency caused by the spread of the coronavirus.


These 8,000 EPIs are part of a shipment of a total of 15,000 teams, which have arrived this week in Catalonia, in the framework of a new collaboration between FC Barcelona, ​​through the Barça Foundation, and the Chinese company Tencent, through from the Tencent Charity Foundation. A few days ago, the technology company based in Shenzhen launched a Global Anti-Pandemic Fund endowed with 100 million dollars, which will be used to donate basic health supplies to help fight against COVID19, and the Barça Foundation will manage and distribute it. of part of this material for Catalonia.


Personal protective equipment is intended for health workers who these days leave their skin working. They are essential for this work to be done safely and with full protection, and since this COVID19 pandemic began, they are the main demand of the health workers.
