Air Project to Wuhan, China, with success

On October 10^th, SERVETO carried through an air project shipment, from Barcelona Airport to Wuhan, China with the airline CARGOLUX, for an engineering company with projects worldwide.

The project consisted of a single shipment of heavy large machinery (over 100 m³ and 12.000 Kg), so it was necessary to hire special equipment for handling, loading and unloading; at both departure and arrival airports, as well as at the connection one in Luxembourg.

SERVETO own staff moved to Luxembourg airport with the Customer, to coordinate all equipment transfer operations insitu, thereby ensuring the proper performance and safety operations, given the large size and frailty of the equipment.

This is one of the many operations that the Forwarding department has carried out as project shipment, where the active participation of the Customer at the time of transfer, has been key to the success of the operation. SERVETO team experience in such operations, either ocean or air shipments, guarantee its success, contributing significantly to the sustained growth of the Forwarding Division.
